Senior PeopleSoft Functional Analyst - Commitment Control (FSCM) Location: RemoteType: 1-Year Contract (Strong likelihood of extension)Compensation: $70/hrSchedule: Full-Time, Central Time Business HoursWe're looking for a PeopleSoft Financials professional with deep Commitment Control experience to support a large enterprise ERP environment.This role focuses on the budget side of PeopleSoft FSCM and will serve as a key resource for Commitment Control operations, budget checking, encumbrance accounting, and integration with Purchasing, General Ledger, and Accounts Payable. The right person will be comfortable working through complex budget issues, troubleshooting exceptions, and helping ensure financial controls continue to operate smoothly.If you've spent years supporting PeopleSoft Commitment Control and understand how budget rules impact downstream financial transactions, you'll likely feel right at home here. What You'll Be Doing Serve as the primary functional resource for PeopleSoft Commitment Control (KK)Configure and maintain budget definitions, ledger groups, control budgets, and budget-checking rulesTroubleshoot budget-checking errors, budget exceptions, and encumbrance issuesSupport fiscal year-end processing, budget close activities, and carry-forward processesPartner with General Ledger, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable teams on cross-functional issuesAssist with system testing related to upgrades, patches, and enhancementsDocument processes, configuration changes, and issue resolutionsProvide guidance and knowledge transfer to business and support teams What We're Looking For 5+ years of PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM) experienceStrong Commitment Control (KK) experienceDeep understanding of: Budget DefinitionsLedger GroupsControl BudgetsBudget CheckingEncumbrance AccountingBudget Exception HandlingExperience supporting integrations between: Commitment ControlGeneral LedgerPurchasingAccounts PayableStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environment Nice to Have Public sector PeopleSoft experienceBudget office or governmental accounting experiencePeopleSoft upgrade or patch testing experienceLarge enterprise ERP support experienceExperience documenting functional requirements and business processes Why Consider This Opportunity?
