Job Description
The HRIS Analyst will configure, optimize, and support the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system, focusing on recruiting, onboarding, payroll, time and attendance, performance management, compensation, benefits, and security.
- Ensure seamless integration between Workday and other systems using EIBs.
- Manage EIBs and reporting functionality.
- Lead and support Workday-related projects.
- Provide support to end users and practitioners, troubleshoot issues, and create training materials.
- Develop, manage, and maintain HR and payroll reports.
- Identify and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain security protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Create and maintain documentation related to standard operating procedures, configurations, and process workflows.
- Proactively review system release notes and provide recommendations to process owners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Workday System Management: Configure, optimize, and maintain the Workday HCM system for Human Resources processes.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless integration with other internal and external systems using EIBs.
- Project Management: Lead and support Workday-related projects, ensuring new functionality and business requirements are effectively implemented.
- User Support & Training: Provide support to end users, create training materials, and conduct training sessions.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop, manage, and maintain HR and payroll reports, ensuring accurate and insightful data.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance system functionality and workflows.
- Security & Compliance: Maintain security protocols and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to standard operating procedures, configurations, and process workflows.
- System Release Management: Review system release notes and provide recommendations to process owners.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of integrations, EIBs, and reporting within Workday.
- Strong data analysis, research, problem-solving, and testing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant education may be substituted with two years of related experience for each year of education.
- Four (4) or more years of experience required administering Workday HR modules encompassing the employee lifecycle from hire to offboarding, including configuration and security.
- Four (4) or more years of experience required supporting Human Resources and payroll processes within Workday.
