Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Process and file HR documentation including employee records, benefits forms, and onboarding paperwork
- Maintain accurate employee files, both digital and physical
- Aid with data entry in HRIS system
- Support recruitment administration (posting jobs, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters)
- Help coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding processes
- Respond to basic HR-related inquiries from employees
- Aid with benefits administration paperwork
- Cook up HR calendar and schedule meetings as needed
- Generate standard HR reports and correspondence
- Back up the front desk by answering phones and assisting foot traffic
- Other tasks as needed
Education and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Some college coursework in HR preferred
- 1+ years of administrative experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Experience with data entry and file management
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Bilingual: English and Spanish required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous HR administrative experience
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Understanding of basic employment laws
- Experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems)
