About the role
We're looking for an HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team at Corporate Headquarters. In this hybrid, temporary role (6+ months), you'll own the accurate, timely processing of HR transactions in Workday and help keep employee data consistent and audit-ready across systems. You'll work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Payroll, leading new hire orientation and supporting compliance reporting along the way. This is an opportunity to build hands-on HR operations experience while playing a visible, trusted role in the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain all HR transactions in Workday, including hiring, terminations, job changes, salary changes, and other employee data updates.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of employee records and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Lead and facilitate in-person new hire orientation sessions, ensuring all new hire paperwork and system entries are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with Benefits and Payroll when HR transactions impact benefits eligibility, deductions, or pay processing.
- Support HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and the HR Generalist with reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR processes, employment verification, and data changes.
- Utilize DocuSign, Jobvite, and other HR tools to streamline and track HR processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications
- Prior HR or administrative experience.
- Proficiency in Workday, Jobvite, Microsoft Excel, and DocuSign.
