About the role

As an HR Operations Specialist at Nedap, you will ensure the seamless execution of HR processes and systems to support employee engagement and operational excellence. This hybrid position, based in Burlington, MA, involves collaborating with the Director of Human Resources to build and scale a robust HR department aligned with the company’s growth. You will manage employee records, administer benefits, support compliance, and enhance HR workflows while serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR policies and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain employee records, HR systems, and core HR processes to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and a smooth employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, support annual benefit renewals, open enrollment, and address day-to-day employee inquiries related to benefits.
  • Support compensation review processes and collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate payroll processing through proper data management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws by reviewing and updating policies, handbooks, and conducting HR training sessions for employees and managers.
  • Track and analyze HR metrics, prepare reports, and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Support broader HR projects and initiatives aligned with organizational growth and development goals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle all HR-related matters with professionalism and discretion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, HR Shared Services, or a broad HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR administration, benefits management, payroll coordination, and employment law compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as BambooHR or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage and improve HR processes with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships across all organizational levels.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical skills with experience using HR metrics and reporting for decision-making.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is preferred.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Hybrid work experience and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%).
