About the role

The Human Resources Specialist will support the HR department by processing biweekly payroll responsibilities and implementing various HR programs and processes.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll
• Communicate effectively with employees regarding HR policies and procedures
• Conduct employee orientations and assist with onboarding processes
• Aid in HR projects such as policy updates, training initiatives, and employee engagement programs
• Handle HR systems such as Paychex Flex for payroll and Employee Navigator for HRIS functions
• Support in compliance with multistate employment laws including OSHA regulations
• Facilitate change management processes within the organization

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payroll processing, data collection, and analysis within an HR setting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
• Familiarity with HR systems such as Paychex Flex and Employee Navigator is preferred
• Knowledge of employee orientation processes and project management principles
• Experience in change management initiatives within an organization
