HR Specialist

Position Overview

Kleinfelder is seeking an HR Specialist to join our Corporate Services team. This role is hybrid, with 3-4 days per week working out of either the Central or East Division office. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of HR experience and a strong understanding of HRIS systems.

Position Responsibilities

• Hands-on training administration around employee relations issues
• HR system reporting (UKG Pro experience a plus)
• General HR administration
• Coordination with managers on HR-related issues
• Participation in implementation and communication of policies, benefits, and/or compensation projects and events
• Responsibility for coordinating assigned staff
• Work under minimal supervision within specific guidelines and protocols on highly complex assignments/problems of limited scope

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or HR certificate preferred
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for designated areas including COBRA, Section 125, ERISA, FMLA, Disability and/or Workers Compensation
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
• Knowledge of HRIS systems, UKG Pro experience preferred

The expected salary range for this position is $47,641 - $87,906. Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
