About the role
The HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting daily human resources operations, ensuring smooth execution of core HR functions including employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and HR systems administration.
Responsibilities
- Cook upboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation and system updates
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs
- Support employee relations matters by documenting concerns and partnering with leadership as needed
- Aid with benefits administration and leave tracking
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state employment regulations
- Prepare HR reports and assist with internal audits
- Partner with payroll to ensure accurate employee data and processing
- Contribute to process improvements within HR operations
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or related field
- Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
