The HR Program Manager is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for leading and delivering high-impact HR initiatives across the organization. This role drives cross-functional programs from concept through implementation, ensuring strong execution, successful change management, and measurable business outcomes. The HR Program Manager partners closely with HR leaders and business stakeholders to improve processes, enhance employee experience, and enable scalable solutions.
Program Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive program and project plans, including objectives, timelines, milestones, and governance structures
- Drive delivery by ensuring milestone completion, resolving risks and roadblocks, and aligning stakeholders on key decisions
- Apply appropriate project management methodologies and tools based on program needs
Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead cross-functional HR and business teams, ensuring clarity on roles, responsibilities, and expected outcomes
- Build strong partnerships with HR leaders, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to align priorities and drive results
- Maintain clear, consistent communication on program status, risks, and outcomes
Change Management
- Design and implement effective change management strategies to support adoption of HR programs and initiatives
- Develop stakeholder engagement, communication, and transition plans to ensure successful implementation
Process Improvement & Problem Solving
- Facilitate structured problem-solving to define issues, assess root causes, and develop and implement effective solutions
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across HR processes and programs
Data & Insights
- Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities, inform decision-making, and measure program success
- Establish success metrics and track impact of HR initiatives against business objectives
Resource & Risk Management
- Develop resource plans that balance speed, capability, and efficiency
- Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
Governance & Compliance
- Maintain clear program documentation, including charters, status updates, and post-implementation reviews
- Ensure all HR programs align with applicable legal, regulatory, and company policy requirements
Total Rewards
- Salary Range: $96,800 - $135,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
- Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
- Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional programs or projects
- Demonstrated successful application of project management tools, methodologies and best practices
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leaders
- Proven ability to drive execution in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills across a range of audiences
Preferred Experience
- Within Human Resources or people-related programs
- PMP, Agile, or similar project/program management certification
- Experience leading change management initiatives at scale
