About the role
Vanderlande is a global leader in logistics process automation, specializing in automated material handling systems for airports, warehouses, and parcel operations. The HR Partner will support a Georgia-based client group and partner with leaders and teams across North America.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Partner closely with managers to provide practical, business-oriented HR guidance and support.
- Manage employee life-cycle activities, including onboarding, performance management, talent development, internal transfers, and offboarding support.
- Coach managers on feedback, documentation, employee relations, and talent management best practices.
- Support employee engagement initiatives that strengthen the employee experience, team connection, and HR operational effectiveness.
- Partner with regional and global HR teams on compensation, benefits-related questions, HR programs, and process alignment, as needed.
- Support compliance with applicable U.S. employment laws, state employment requirements, and company policies.
- Participate in HR projects designed to improve processes, tools, practices, and the overall manager and employee experience.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruitment support, internal mobility, new-hire readiness, and workforce planning activities.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and insights to support informed decision-making.
- Guide employees and managers on self-service transactions, HR portal navigation, and policy interpretation to promote accountability and autonomy.
- Perform other HR duties and project work as business needs require.
Required Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
- 5 to 7 years of HR experience in a similar HR Partner, HR Generalist, or employee-facing HR role.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment practices and HR fundamentals; familiarity with Georgia employment requirements is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, handle confidential information with sound judgment, and follow through with professionalism.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate information into practical recommendations.
- Experience supporting operational, technical, service, or multi-site client groups is an asset.
- Experience with Workday or a similar HRIS is an asset.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is an asset.
