Our client, a rapidly growing organization, is expanding their Human Resources team and seeking an HR Operations Specialist to join their Morristown, NJ office.

About the role

This is an outstanding opportunity for an HR professional with 3 to 5 years of experience who is looking to take the next step in their career within a highly visible role. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, this individual will play a key role in supporting HR operations, employee programs, and the overall employee experience while helping build processes that can scale alongside a growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the full employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding through offboarding
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and pre-employment processes
  • Lead onboarding efforts and facilitate new hire orientation programs
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and enrollment support
  • Assist with employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
  • Partner with leadership on HR initiatives, process improvements, and organizational projects
  • Support HR compliance efforts and help ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies
  • Assist with HR reporting, organizational charts, workforce data, and special projects
  • Coordinate HR vendor relationships, invoicing, and other operational responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of corporate Human Resources experience
  • Strong foundation in HR operations, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee support
  • Ability to balance administrative responsibilities with employee-facing and strategic HR initiatives
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms; Paylocity experience is highly preferred
  • Biopharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated industry experience is a plus
