About the role

This is more than an administrative position—it’s an opportunity to build a career in Human Resources. You’ll work alongside experienced HR professionals, interact with employees and leaders throughout the organization, and gain exposure to a variety of HR functions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a professional first point of contact for employees, applicants, and visitors.
  • Coordinate interviews, meetings, orientations, and HR appointments.
  • Support new hire onboarding and follow up on outstanding documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Prepare emails, letters, memos, reports, and other HR communications.
  • Follow up with employees and managers on missing documents, signatures, training, and other HR requirements.
  • Assist with reports, spreadsheets, tracking systems, and HR projects.
  • Learn and utilize HRIS, payroll, scheduling, document management, and other technology platforms.
  • Use modern technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and streamline HR processes.
  • Support benefits administration and other HR functions as assigned.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Support special projects, employee events, training initiatives, and other HR department activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college coursework preferred.
  • 1+ year of office, administrative, customer service, or professional experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Comfortable learning new technology, software, and AI tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Previous HR, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, or payroll experience is a plus—but not required.
