Responsibilities
- Manage the administration and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits programs
- Conduct compensation benchmarking, market pricing, and salary analysis to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness
- Support annual compensation planning processes, including merit increases, salary adjustments, and incentive programs
- Administer employee benefits programs including health, retirement, wellness, and leave offerings
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, FLSA)
- Partner with leadership and HR teams on job evaluations, compensation recommendations, and offer development
- Cook up open enrollment activities and manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers
- Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends and make recommendations for program enhancements
- Assist with HRIS management and reporting related to compensation and benefits programs
- Provide guidance to employees and leaders regarding total rewards programs and policies
- Support employee retention, engagement, and workforce planning initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on compensation, benefits, or total rewards
- Strong understanding of compensation practices, salary structures, and benefits administration
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulatory compliance requirements
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with HRIS platforms
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CCP, or CEBS certification
- Experience supporting multi-site or regional operations
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus
