Summer 2027 internship located at our Corporate Headquarters in Appleton, WI, running from May through August 2027.
About the role
Support various teams across our People Resources function, including Compliance, Learning, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations.
Responsibilities
- Audit and validate team member data
- Assist in updating and creating Total Rewards communications and policy revisions
- Assist with coordination of wellness, vendors, and health fairs/events
- Assist in coordinating learning offerings: scheduling, registration, tracking, etc.
- Assist with the recruitment process and hiring events
- Assist with process improvement projects
- Provide guidance to leaders and HR partners on I-9 regulations, policies, and procedures
- Support ongoing efforts to build sustainable HR Compliance processes
- Assist the HR Coordinator with I-9 employment verification
- Other projects as assigned
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or related field
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring sponsorship
Skills
- Experience analyzing data
- Ability to recognize opportunities for new, creative, and innovative solutions
- Proficiency in oral and written communication, including proper use of English, grammar, and punctuation in business correspondence
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; HRIS experience a plus
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities while producing excellent work results
- Ability to professionally network with peers in the market
