HR GENERALIST/RECRUITER - SUMMERLIN HOSPITAL (FULL TIME)

The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, Henderson Hospital, and Valley Health Specialty Hospital, with its newest facility, West Henderson Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of employment functions, including recruitment and selection of exempt and nonexempt positions.
• Develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Interpret policies and procedures.
• Handle day-to-day employee relations.
• Maintain record-keeping and compliance for employee files.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resource management, administration, or other applicable degree program.
• Five years of progressively responsible human resources management experience.
• One year of experience in an environment with a union presence (preferable).
• Demonstrated knowledge of Federal and State laws.
• Computer proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and HRIS.
