Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from job posting through accepted offer and pre-employment processing.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, experience levels, and hiring priorities.
- Develop clear and effective job postings for field, skilled-trade, technical, administrative, and leadership roles.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, trade schools, apprenticeship programs, career fairs, community organizations, and direct outreach.
- Review applications, conduct initial phone screens, coordinate interviews, and assist managers with candidate evaluations.
- Absorb and prepare offer letters, coordinate background checks, motor vehicle record checks, drug testing, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for frequently hired positions.
- Track recruiting activity, time-to-fill, applicant sources, hiring results, and other recruiting metrics.
- Represent IMCOR at career fairs, hiring events, trade schools, and workforce-development programs.
- Support employer-branding initiatives that communicate IMCOR’s culture, career opportunities, benefits, and employee experience.
- Ensure recruiting practices are consistent, professional, and compliant with applicable employment laws.
Onboarding and Employee Support
- Career onboarding, orientation, employment documentation, system access, and required jobsite qualifications.
- Coordinate with Payroll, Safety, Operations, and department leadership to ensure new hires are prepared for their first day.
- Support new-hire check-ins and early retention efforts.
- Absorb and assist employees and managers with general HR questions, policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
- Support employee relations matters, documentation, corrective action, investigations, and performance-management processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and employment changes within the HRIS.
- Absorb and assist with benefits administration, leave tracking, training coordination, employee engagement activities, and People Team projects.
Qualifications
- Three or more years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR Generalist experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing the full-cycle recruiting process.
- Experience recruiting for construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, service, or another field-based industry is strongly preferred.
- Ability to recruit for multiple positions and experience levels simultaneously.
- Strong candidate-sourcing, interviewing, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Experience working directly with hiring managers and operational leaders.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and compliant hiring practices.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, and HR information systems.
- Experience with Arcoro HRIS and applicant tracking systems is a plus but not required.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
