HR Generalist, Crew Scheduler
About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Generalist / Crew Scheduler to join our Human Resources team at our Battle Creek, MI Plant. This role involves serving as a liaison between the plant staff and the Human Resources team, focusing on plant engagement, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Data-Driven: Report on HR metrics, maintain personnel files, and administer leaves of absence.
- Drive Efficiency: Contribute to efficient operations by accurately scheduling employees according to the plant's collective bargaining agreements.
- Collaboration is Key: Partner with Shift Operations to process production paperwork, conduct investigations, issue attendance disciplines, and research grievances and complaints.
- Set the Pace: Prepare training materials and maintain documentation for new hire orientations, safety training, and job-specific training.
- Agility: Adjust to changes in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Administrative Support: Support Plant projects and events as needed.

- Intermediate to advanced computer skills – primarily Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Pay
Salary Range: $55,600 - $69,500. Salary pay ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and local market conditions.
Schedule
Mondays through Fridays – Must be available to work any shift. Some weekend work and overtime will be required at times based on plant business needs.
