HR Generalist

Job Summary

TASI Gas Flow, part of TASI Measurement, has a Human Resources Generalist opportunity in Monterey, California. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level, coordinating with the HR Manager in managing employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, talent acquisition, and employment law compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related discipline
• 3+ years’ experience in Human Resources
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
• Reviews bi-weekly payroll for accuracy and compliance with California Wage & Hour regulations
• Coverage of recruitment efforts for personnel, students, and temporary employees
• Conducts new-employee orientations
• Maintains career-pathing program
• Writes and places advertisements
• Manages all aspects of the employee life cycle for employees at assigned locations including onboarding, offboarding, leaves of absence, performance, etc.
• Supports management in our employee talent development initiatives
• Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database
• Performs any other duties or responsibilities as requested by Supervisor or Manager

• Can lift up to 10 lbs, sitting and standing for reasonable periods of time

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $80-85k/year, depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location. In addition to base compensation, this role includes a comprehensive benefit package which may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
