HR Generalist

About the role

Our Robert Half Madison team is seeking an HR Generalist to join the team of one of our growing clients on the north side of Madison. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in recruiting, alongside 2+ years of more general HR experience. This is a fully onsite position in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
• Assist with employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
• Administer benefits, compensation, and employee leave programs.
• Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Support training and development initiatives to foster employee growth.
• Be a resource to employees and management for HR-related questions and concerns.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior HR experience, with a focus on recruitment and generalist tasks.
• Strong knowledge of core HR functions and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
