Responsibilities
- Manages the onboarding process in Oracle, following the recruitment cycle
- Tier 1 Support for new/transferring employees; Department Managers/Assistants, other HR staff
- Performs tasks in various modules of HRIS system(s): Work Experience, Position Management, Licensure/Certification, etc.
- Generates New Hire/Transfer welcome Letter; applies additional language as needed per case
- New Hire/Transfer Case Review; application of university policies and procedures as it relates to the circumstances of the action
- Analyze/Interpret Criteria applicable to the Case of the New Hire/Transfer (Work Experience Calculation/Seniority Date Changes)
- Responsible for launching various integration packages for onboarding/transfers
- Employment Action Case (Position Changes: Home Department/Percentage, Funding Changes, Extensions, Reports to Changes, Etc.)
- New Hire Paperwork - 1) Facilitates Onboarding visit where HR forms are completed 2) Launches DocuSign for Signature and ensures that all required new hire forms and documents are complete and accurate
- May perform Special Project(s) (ongoing or as assigned)
Qualifications
- Experience Req / Pref: 1 year of applicable work experience in Human Resources or customer service-related role
- Prior experience performing recruitment support for a high-volume department
- Prior project management experience
- Prior experience with UCPath and Oracle
- Education, Licenses and Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training
- HR Certificate (PHR)
