Position Purpose
The HR Coordinator at JCB supports the Human Resources department in delivering the company's people strategy. This role ensures that JCB can recruit, retain, and manage the highest-calibre workforce that drives the company’s global success.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Serve as an initial point of contact for routine employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and other employment-related matters.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with daily HR operations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel records and HR documentation.
- Prepare employment-related documents, correspondence, reports, and employee communications.
- Avoid HR data entry, audits, reporting, and record retention.
- Prepare new-hire documentation and coordinate required pre-employment activities.
- Facilitate or assist with new-hire orientation.
- Ensure employee information is accurately entered into applicable HR systems.
- Support the HR Business Partner and HR leadership with employee relations documentation and administrative follow-up.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality regarding employee and business matters.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of administrative, Human Resources, recruiting, or related professional experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous HR experience within a manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or similar environment.
- Experience working with an HRIS, applicant tracking system, payroll system, or other HR technology.
- Knowledge of basic HR practices and employment-related regulations.
- SHRM or HRCI certification, or interest in pursuing HR certification.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project.
Job Conditions
- Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment.
- Subject to noise and temperature changes.
Physical Requirements
- Remain stationary, operate hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand and move and/or walk.
- The employee must frequently move and/or transport up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
