About the role
The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources and Training functions. This role assists with employee onboarding, Workday transaction support, compliance and training follow-up, reporting, and general HR administration.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for day-to-day HR processes, including onboarding, employee changes, compliance tracking, personnel file maintenance, and general employee support.
- Assist with new hire onboarding activities, including preparing onboarding materials, coordinating required tasks, tracking completion of onboarding steps, and supporting new hire orientation.
- Help monitor and follow up on incomplete HR tasks in Workday, including manager approvals, employee acknowledgements, new hire tasks, performance-related items, and other assigned workflows.
- Support managers and employees with basic Workday navigation and task completion, escalating more complex questions as needed.
- Support HR communications, reminders, and follow-ups related to deadlines, required tasks, policy acknowledgements, and compliance items.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Provide administrative support for company training programs, including scheduling, tracking attendance, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics.
- Help monitor completion of required trainings and follow up with employees and managers regarding overdue or incomplete training assignments.
- Support the Training & Development Manager with training initiatives, including role-based certifications, onboarding rotations, internal training sessions, and compliance training.
- Aid in preparing training reports, maintaining training records, and tracking progress against training deadlines.
- Care for coordination of training meetings, practice sessions, webinars, and internal learning events as needed.
- Support the posting, organization, or communication of training resources, recordings, and materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, training administration, office administration, or a related administrative support role preferred.
- Experience with HRIS, learning management systems, or employee data systems; Workday experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and follow-up items.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with employees and managers at different levels of the organization.
- Ability to learn systems and processes quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Professional, dependable, and service-oriented.

Benefits
Compensation details: The expected starting pay rate for this position is $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Qualifications
- Education, Experience And Skills Required: 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, training administration, office administration, or a related administrative support role preferred.
