About the role
The HR & Recruiting Coordinator will support TransLoop's growing team by managing HR administrative processes, maintaining employee records and HR systems, supporting benefits administration, and assisting with onboarding and recruiting activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee records and oversee data integrity within the HRIS, including employee status changes, new hire information, terminations, and organizational updates.
- Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, employee inquiries, qualifying life events, and coordination with benefit vendors.
- Cook up onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, system setup, orientation scheduling, and ensuring a positive first-day experience.
- Prepare and process HR-related documentation, including offer letters, employment verifications, employee changes, and other personnel records.
- Aid in interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer preparation to support recruiting efforts.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and general employment matters.
- Conduct regular HR audits and reporting to ensure compliance and data accuracy across HR systems.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, and department leaders to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee information.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and company events.
- Aid in recruiting events, career fairs, and other talent acquisition initiatives as needed.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to continuously improve people processes and enhance the overall employee experience.
Requirements
- Previous HR, recruiting, or freight sales experience.
- High levels of proactivity and persistence—must be comfortable owning outcomes.
- Strong ability to network and build internal and external relationships.
