About the role
The HR Coordinator manages the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the HR department, ensuring compliance and smooth operations for an 80-person practice.
Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork, I-9/E-Verify, background checks, and drug screens.
- Coordinate start dates, system access requests, and final pay with payroll.
- Administer benefits administration, including enrollments, life event changes, and support for employee benefits questions.
- Maintain HRIS and payroll systems, manage personnel files, and pull reports for the HR Director.
- Support payroll by tracking PTO accruals and resolving pay discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance documentation, including workplace postings, training completion, and leave paperwork.
- Assist with credentialing efforts and support HR Director with priority projects.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 1-3 years of HR or related administrative experience.
- Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential employee information.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly outpatient or oncology.
- Familiarity with credentialing workflows and vendor coordination.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
