Responsibilities
- Cook up onboarding activities, ensuring onboarding steps are completed accurately and on schedule for incoming employees.
- Manage background screening and related pre-employment documentation while maintaining confidentiality and timely follow-up.
- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support, including record maintenance, document tracking, and employee file organization.
- Communicate with employees and candidates in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese to answer questions and support HR processes.
- Aid in compliance-focused tasks by helping maintain accurate records and following established human resources procedures.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to schedule orientations, process employment paperwork, and support recruitment-related logistics.
- Monitor deadlines for required forms and employment documents to help keep HR operations efficient and organized.
- Support additional HR projects and provide extra coverage during higher-volume periods, including overtime as business needs require.
Requirements
- Fluency in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese is required.
- Previous experience in human resources coordination, HR administration, or a related support role is preferred.
- Hands-on familiarity with employee onboarding and pre-employment screening processes is strongly desired.
- Understanding of HR compliance practices and the importance of handling sensitive information appropriately.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and employee records accurately.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across diverse audiences.
- Availability to work a schedule beginning around 7:00 or 7:30 a.m. and flexibility for overtime when needed.
