Job Summary
We are seeking a highly discreet, detail-oriented HR Coordinator with experience in the hospitality industry to join our team. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily HR operations while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably within hospitality, hotels, or service-based industries
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance standards
- Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with integrity
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with high-volume, fast paced, with constant change
- Knowledge of scheduling/workforce systems common in hospitality
- Bilingual capabilities (a plus depending on workforce needs)
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred, not required

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update confidential employee records in HRIS systems with strict adherence to privacy protocols
- Serve as a trusted liaison between employees and leadership on HR-related matters
- Support recruitment efforts including scheduling interviews, managing candidate communications, and maintaining applicant tracking systems
- Aid in employee relations matters while ensuring discretion and compliance with company policies
- Cook up training sessions, compliance certifications, and performance review processes
- Process employment verifications, background checks, and HR documentation securely
- Support payroll coordination and benefits administration while safeguarding sensitive compensation data
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, especially within hospitality environments

- Handle highly sensitive employee data (disciplinary actions, compensation, investigations, etc.) with absolute confidentiality
- Adhere to all data protection, privacy, and record retention policies
- Exercise sound judgment when managing confidential or escalated situations
- Maintain professionalism and neutrality in all employee interactions
- Protect company and employee information both inside and outside the workplace
