Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition Support: Assist with the full recruitment cycle, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and managing the onboarding process to ensure new hires feel welcomed and prepared.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, handle time-off tracking, and assist with benefits administration and enrollment.
- Compliance & Policy: Help maintain the employee handbook and ensure HR practices remain consistent and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Employee Relations: Serve as an approachable point of contact for employee questions, helping to resolve day-to-day inquiries and supporting internal communication efforts.
- Culture & Development: Assist in organizing team engagement activities, events, and the implementation of training or professional development programs.
- Systems & Reporting: Manage HR administrative systems, assist with HR metrics reporting, and look for ways to streamline internal processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role (internships or recent experience considered).
- Fundamental understanding of HR principles, labor laws, and ethical workplace practices.
- Strong integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and a quick learner of HRIS, ATS, or benefits platforms.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
