Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
- On-boards hires, providing them with new hire paperwork, and assists through the on-boarding process.
- Serves as a point of contact for hire, answering questions, and providing outstanding customer service.
- Confirms new hires are in compliance to work legally in the United States by using E-Verify.
- Reviews Human Resources documents for accuracy and performs data entry for all associate status changes, including promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions, terminations, etc.
- Data entry for all new employee information in all company systems.
- Manages filing in an accurate and timely manner.
- Responds to unemployment claims. Assists with administration of requests for leave of absence, including Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, state and local leave laws, short-term disability, and long-term disability. Runs reports, audits HR systems, prepares spreadsheets, and written documents as required.
- Affords assistance to associates with Human Resource Department questions.
- Affords assistance in exit interviews.
- Manages weekly and monthly attendance reporting.
- Manages new associate training and schedules as needed.
- Affords assistance to Human Resources Manager and Operations Management.
- Meets with associates for attendance issues and various employee relations issues.
- Affords assistance to Human Resources Manager with investigation.
- Collaborates with production and supporting departments to ensure the food safety and quality of our products.
Education
An associate degree, or equivalent from a two-year college or accredited technical school is required.
Experience
3-5 years of HR Operations administration and support experience are required.
