HR Supervisor - 2nd Shift

About the role

This HR Generalist position primarily supports employee relations, recruitment, and compliance within a manufacturing environment. You will assist in administering company policies, resolving employee issues, and managing disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and train candidates
• Conduct employee investigations and I-9 audits
• Handle unemployment claims and appeals
• Ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws
• Analyze turnover, retention, and absenteeism data to help develop HR strategies
• Compile and distribute HR reports
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish (required)
• High school diploma (required); degree in HR or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of HR and employee relations experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of employment law
• Proficient with technology

Work Environment

Office setting within a manufacturing plant, involving prolonged sitting, occasional lifting, and exposure to noise, environmental conditions, and odors.
