HR Consultant (Interim)Location: Eagle, ID (100% Onsite) Employment Type: Contract / Consulting Compensation: $40-$60/hrCV Resources is partnering with a growing organization to hire an experienced HR Consultant for a high-impact engagement. This is an opportunity to assess an evolving HR function, establish best practices, and help leadership build the foundation for long-term success.If you enjoy creating structure, improving processes, and partnering with executive leadership, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoEvaluate the company's current HR and payroll processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Develop and implement foundational HR policies, procedures, and documentation.Assess payroll operations and recommend best practices for long-term success.Review onboarding, recruiting, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.Partner with leadership to develop scalable HR processes that support future growth.Advise on organizational structure, workforce planning, and HR strategy.Support a growing, multi-state workforce while ensuring compliance with employment laws.Create recommendations for the long-term HR function and future staffing needs.Qualifications7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.Experience building or transforming HR functions in small to mid-sized organizations.Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and multi-state HR compliance.Experience developing HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.Excellent communication, organizational, and consulting skills.Ability to work independently and influence leaders across the organization.Preferred QualificationsPrevious HR consulting or fractional HR experience.Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or organizational growth.Experience implementing or improving HRIS and payroll systems.Paycom experience is a plus.Why Apply?Highly visible engagement partnering directly with executive leadership.Opportunity to build and improve an HR function from the ground up.Make a lasting impact on a growing organization.Collaborative environment where your recommendations will shape the company's future HR strategy.If you're an experienced HR leader who enjoys building processes, solving problems, and helping organizations scale, we'd love to connect.
