Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for intake of compensation/classification forms.
- Classifying non-exempt and exempt positions.
- Conducting salary surveys.
- Aids in market matching for job classifications using a variety of tools and software.
- Maintains compensation database, job code tables, and reviews and troubleshoots hiring forms and systems compensation standards.
- Oversees annual merit pay increases.
- Collects and analyzes data on wages and salaries, and evaluates job positions to determine classification and salary.
- Aid in the design and administration of compensation programs and may help in preparing compensation reports.
- Time and attendance processing/auditing.
- Works as part of a team to approve job actions and applies proper coding to ensure correct actions are processed for both internal and external reporting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of progressive experience in human resources management with specific expertise in the area of compensation.
- Knowledge of job analysis and job evaluation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables, formulas, data validation, and tables.
- Knowledge of HRIS Systems, including running queries and accessing and manipulating data.
