About the role
The Colleague Relations Partner serves as a trusted advisor to Regional Health Ministry (RHM) managers and colleagues, focusing on fostering a positive and collaborative workplace environment. This role involves implementing and managing colleague relations policies, conducting investigations, and resolving disputes.
Responsibilities
- Supports the implementation and management of colleague relations policies, processes, and programs.
- Collaborates with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Colleague and Labor Relations Center of Expertise (COE) leadership to address colleague relations matters.
- Conducts investigations as needed, documents findings, and makes recommendations for resolution.
- Provides administrative support for colleague relations inquiries, including reviewing and responding to exit interviews, processing HR transactions, and identifying trends.
- Coordinates colleague relations management training and advocates for fair workplace practices.
- Maintains knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and ensures compliance with Trinity Health's policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Labor and Industrial Relations, or a related field, with at least three (3) years of experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws and their application.
- Ability to respond to variable situations with analytical, interpretive, evaluative, and constructive thinking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Discrete and confidential handling of sensitive information.
- Comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
