HR Business Partner - Supply Chain (Conklin, NY Distribution Center)
Overview
DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Business Partner to support our Conklin, NY Distribution and Fulfillment Center operations. This is a highly visible, full-time, onsite role (Monday–Friday) partnering directly with HR and Operations leadership to drive people strategies, enhance teammate experience, and influence business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Teammate Experience & Culture
- Serve as a primary HR partner for Distribution Center leadership, supporting leaders in building strong, values-based teams
- Lead complex teammate relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Partner with leaders to proactively identify risks and implement solutions that strengthen engagement and retention
- Make informed and timely decisions on disciplinary matters, including those related to safety
- Influence and Support Leaders
- Act as a strategic business partner
- Influence and support leaders in executing key organizational initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent development
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional HR Teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams (Benefits, Payroll, LOA) to drive consistent and effective processes
- Support broader Supply Chain HR initiatives
- Ensure Compliance & Develop Leaders
- Lead training and support on critical HR topics including teammate relations, policy, safety, and performance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies, including wage and hour requirements

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field
- 3-5 years of experience in employee relations; Human Resources Generalist work
- Ability to conduct thorough investigations and maintain documentation in an organized manner
- Strong coaching, communication and influence skills
- Ability to make sound business decisions
- Ability to provide critical feedback to assist with the growth and development of associates and supervisors
- Ability to prioritize challenging demands and manage time effectively
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Strong sense of urgency to resolve associate issues
- Experience in handling Legal/Government charges as a company representative

Targeted Pay Range
The targeted pay range for this role is $67,100.00 - $109,000.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and equitable pay.
