About the role

The HR Business Partner, Sr supports the alignment of business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This role provides support in developing, implementing, and improving people programs to drive business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates and leads discussions on prioritized meetings related to people and talent programs within business units.
  • Identifies and analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group and provides recommendations for solutions and business activities.
  • Supports OpCo function Sr Mgrs and coordinates project activities across the Utility and Corporate organization to drive effectiveness and the impact of programs & change.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of labor relations and compliance requirements to reduce labor risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develops and facilitates relevant presentations and proposals leveraging data related to HR and people programs.
  • Interprets and translates data to enable business decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or six (6) years of HR or related experience without a degree.
  • Minimum experience required: Four (4) years of HR or related experience, or six (6) years of HR or related experience without a degree.

Qualifications

  • Proficient to Advanced proficiency level expectations in HR Professional Capabilities.
  • Ability to provide strategic HR recommendations grounded in financial and business analysis.
  • Ability to lead and implement change management initiatives with strategic perspective and business alignment.
  • Ability to communicate strategically to influence organizational decisions and outcomes.
  • Ability to recognize emerging business trends and proactively recommend HR responses.
  • Ability to develop talent management and workforce planning strategies.

Skills

  • Strong HR business partner functional support under the 5 OpCos.
  • Proactive individual who is comfortable with leading and navigating in situations of ambiguity.
  • Passionate about people and committed to supporting the workforce in delivering premier performance.
