Job Description
The Human Resources Business Partner I (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner aligned with the College of Public Health and Health Professions (PHHP)'s missions in clinical care, education, research, and administration while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws, university regulations, and internal policies. This position collaborates closely with departmental leadership, faculty, and staff to provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices that support operational and organizational goals.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Human Resources experience, particularly with the University of Florida, strongly preferred.
- Collaborative mindset to work closely with HR team members, supervisors, department administrators, and other key stakeholders.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Effective organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Good computer skills, including MS Office Suite, DropBox, DocuSign, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with employment laws, HR policies, and UF rules and regulations.
- Ability to work independently with significant self-motivation essential.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
