Schedule
- Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (remote)
About the role
The Contract HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic business partner and advisor with business leaders and operate in alignment with the Company's core values. This position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP will work in our Houston Corporate office and may work two (2) days a week remotely.
Small team. Needs someone who is a go-getter, not afraid to ask questions, and able to communicate with all levels—from field staff to executives.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with leaders and other employees
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; partner with the legal department as needed
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Participate and assist in executing various HR programs such as annual compensation reviews, performance management, and succession planning
- Maintain and administer programs such as Drug Screening (random), Service Awards, Subsidies, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or other applicable degree
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Collaborative work style

Qualifications
HRCI or SHRM certification preferred.
