About the role
Responsible for providing HR consultation and support to designated business areas on various HR matters including workforce planning activities, employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and training & development.
Stays abreast of federal, state, and local employment laws. Provides a wide range of highly confidential analytical and operational support.
Responsibilities
- Guides and supports Regional Branch Managers and Call Center Managers on navigating performance management matters through coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective action.
- Manages and resolves routine employee relations matters and conducts thorough investigations, as necessary.
- Ensures all matters are addressed and resolved timely and in a consistent manner in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Proactively takes action to mitigate any potential legal risk.
- Promotes recruitment strategies to attract and retain talent.
- Affirms department needs and develops job descriptions.
- Reviews compensation data for market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Assists managers with determining department needs and developing job descriptions.
- Partners with business leaders on organizational design and workforce planning activities.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Acts as a backup to other business areas, as needed.
- Participates in special projects and initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- PHR, SPHR or other professional HR certification preferred
- 3+ years HR Generalist experience, with an emphasis on employee relations
- Retail branch banking experience preferred, general banking experience a plus
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now, preferred

Actual compensation within the pay range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.

Salary Range: $55,588 - $102,474
