About The Opportunity With The Organization Focused on helping people experiencing homelessness, this nonprofit has assisted almost 100,000 people transition into housingFounded over 30 years ago in Massachusetts, they now have operations in all six New England States and locations in the MidwestThey offer a variety of services including transitional care, long-term programs, and employment training Responsibilities Expected Of The HR Benefits Specialist Manage benefits administration includes enrollment, status changes, and terminations for health insurance and other benefitsCoordinate with benefit vendorsAnswer employee questions and act as point of contact for questions on benefits or leave of absenceAdminister leaves including preparation and return-to-work processingEnsure federal, state, and local compliance for benefits in several US states Background Expected Of The HR Benefits Specialist Bachelor's degree in human resources or experience equivalent (+4 years of experience)3+ years of experience in an HR role which includes LOA/benefits administrationExperience in a nonprofit organization is a plus Salary Range: $60,000 - 70,000 depending on experience #INJUL2026
