HR Assistant
About the role
This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity ideal for someone interested in gaining experience within Human Resources. The team seeks a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems quickly. Prior HR experience is not required, but an interest in HR and administrative support is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Upload employee relations and HR case information into a new HR platform
- Review records and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Organize and maintain electronic employee files
- Pull and review data using Excel
- Navigate shared drives and electronic filing systems
- Follow established processes to ensure data integrity
- Support the HR team with administrative and file management tasks
- Assist with tracking and organizing case-related information
You will spend the first few days working closely with a Team Member Relations Specialist to learn where to find information, how to use tracking tools, and how to navigate the electronic filing system. After training, your primary focus will be uploading and organizing HR case files in a new platform, with an emphasis on accuracy and consistency. The role will later transition into file management and document organization to keep employee records up-to-date and easily accessible.
Requirements
- Interest in Human Resources
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable learning new technology and systems
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, UKG, Oracle, or SuccessFactors is a plus
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
This role is entry-level and does not require extensive HR experience. The team values tech-savviness, organization, and a willingness to learn.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $16.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
