About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to support daily human resources operations. The ideal candidate is professional, confidential, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Aid with new hire onboarding and orientation processes
- Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR records
- Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications
- Support recruiting efforts, including posting job openings and screening resumes
- Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures
- Absorb benefits enrollment and related paperwork
- Track employee time-off requests and maintain attendance records
- Prepare HR-related reports, letters, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
Requirements
- A minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least one year of administrative or human resources experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus
