HR Assistant
This position supports the NISC IV program at Leidos, focusing on HR records management for the Federal Aviation Administration. The role involves performing basic, routine tasks in support of the HR records management program under close supervision.
Responsibilities
- Carefully record proceedings, action items, and decisions, and generate polished meeting records for executive distribution.
- Provide recommendations, resolutions, and updates to office records, databases, and files for assigned programs.
- Compile and consolidate data from various sources into meaningful documents and reports for key decision-makers.
- Use word processing equipment to produce draft and final documentation suitable for publication.
- Type materials from written drafts originating from different organizational elements.
- Plan the layout of text, charts, forms, and tabulations for neat and balanced appearance.
- Refer situations involving significant deviations from established guidelines to a supervisor.
- Work from draft, edited, or previously typed material to record, update, and print required documentation.
- Maintain records of work accomplished, files, and completed documents.
- Collaborate with others in large, complex publication efforts.
- Collect and record data/information; upload and index documents into eOPF.
- Request and transfer eOPFs with other agencies or the National Personnel Records Center.
- Track incoming and outgoing folders and related records.
- Utilize automated tools and software in the performance of duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 year of relevant administrative experience.
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation to accurately type materials from written sources or voice recordings.
- Understanding of clerical procedures used to perform the work.
- Federal agency experience.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (eligibility requires U.S. citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder status with residency in the U.S. for the past 3 years).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher is highly desirable.
Pay
Pay Range: $35,750.00 - $64,625.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreements, or other legal requirements.
