Responsive Recruiter Benefits: - 401(k) - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Training & development - Vision insurance HR Assistant / Human Resources Coordinator Key Responsibilities: - Assist with day-to-day human resource operations in accordance with agency policies - Assist recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation processes - Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date personnel records in compliance with HIPAA standards - Track compliance documentation using approved systems and reports - Assist with benefits coordination, payroll-related documentation, and workers’ compensation matters - Provide guidance to staff regarding personnel policies and procedures - Support compliance with HIPAA, local, state, and federal regulations - Serve as backup support to caregiving staff as needed Qualifications: - High School Diploma required; college degree preferred but not required - Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience preferred - HR experience is a plus, preferably in a healthcare environment - Knowledge of HIPAA standards and healthcare regulatory requirements preferred - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Demonstrates excellent time management and consistent follow-through - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Professional demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills - Willingness to be credentialed as a Caregiver - Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle per state requirements Additional Requirements: - Ability to work in a HIPAA-compliant, regulated healthcare environment - Commitment to confidentiality, safety, and quality standards - Participation in required training, quality assurance, and compliance programs About Independence Home Health Independence Home Health believes great care starts with a supported team.
