HR Assistant

About the role

GG Media Inc. is hiring a HR Assistant to support employee records, onboarding, HR administration, and day-to-day people operations across its marketing, communications, public relations, content, client service, and campaign reporting teams. The role is full time, 100% remote, and open to candidates throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, status changes, forms, and HR documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding tasks such as document collection, system setup requests, orientation scheduling, and completion tracking.
• Support employee communications, policy acknowledgments, interview scheduling, and routine HR follow-up.
• Respond to basic employee questions and route payroll, benefits, policy, or employee-relations issues to the appropriate HR owner.
• Prepare HR trackers, status reports, audit files, and recurring administrative reports.
• Follow privacy and access-control requirements when handling employee personal or compensation information.

Requirements

• Strong organization, discretion, written communication, and attention to detail.
• Comfort using HRIS or ATS platforms, spreadsheets, shared documents, email, and scheduling tools.
• Ability to manage confidential information and recurring deadlines accurately.
• Professional communication with candidates, employees, managers, and HR partners.
• Basic understanding of onboarding, employee records, and HR administrative processes is helpful.
• A pre-employment background check is required.

Pay

$50,500 - $57,500 per year
