About the role
This position combines full-cycle recruitment and talent-acquisition support with general human-resources assistance.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Post job openings on job boards, social media, and the company career site.
- Review resumes and conduct phone and in-person interviews.
- Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and candidates.
- Conduct reference and background checks.
- Extend job offers and assist with employment documentation.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Assist with new-hire onboarding and orientation.
- Maintain employee personnel files and ensure HR records are accurate and confidential.
- Provide employees with basic information regarding company policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
- Support benefits enrollment and other HR administrative processes.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and company events.
- Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support performance-review and training coordination.
- Respond to employee inquiries and escalate complex HR matters when appropriate.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of recruiting or human-resources experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and hiring best practices.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
