HR and Compliance Intern

About the role

Perigon’s paid Summer Internship Program offers college students a front‑row seat to human resources, compliance, and the wealth management industry. Over a 10‑week remote experience starting June 7th, 2027, interns work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain hands‑on exposure to how an independent RIA supports its employees, maintains regulatory compliance, and delivers outcomes for clients. The program emphasizes onboarding, department rotations, a capstone project, mentorship, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced professionals in HR, compliance, and wealth management.
• Contribute to meaningful projects and gain practical experience.
• Participate in department rotations across Financial Planning, Investment Research, Client Services, Operations, Compliance, People & Culture, and Marketing & Business Development.
• Complete a capstone project over the final 8 weeks: research a business opportunity or challenge, develop recommendations, and present findings to firm leadership.
• Engage in mentorship and networking activities, building relationships with mentors and professionals across the firm.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university (Finance, Business, Economics, or related majors preferred).
• Targeting rising seniors, but must be a junior, senior, or postgraduate.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Genuine interest in wealth management, financial planning, investing, and client experience.

Schedule
