TekWissen is a global workforce management provider headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan that offers strategic talent solutions to clients worldwide. This is a 12-month temporary onsite assignment in Hershey, PA.
About the role
Administer all aspects of employee pension and 401(k) in accordance with company policy and/or state, federal, or local laws. Provide instruction, guidance, and excellent customer service to employees, managers, and human resources professionals. Support Canada as needed for English-speaking employees and other benefit areas as required.
Responsibilities
- 60% - Support Retirement Plan Administration (U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada)
- Semi-annual Supplemental Retirement Contribution (SRC) process
- Annual Core Retirement Contribution (CRC) process for U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada
- Primary contact for planning and administration of legally required communications and special payment processes (SRC, CRC, etc.)
- Monitor and respond to ServiceNow tickets within the service level agreement
- Monitor and respond to 3rd party administrator tickets timely and effectively
- 25% - Invoice Billing
- Run monthly queries to create and complete self-bill invoices for client disability and life insurances
- Pay monthly bills received from benefit vendors
- 15% - Assist 3rd Party Administrators
- Serve as subject matter expert on pension and 401(k)/RRSP for participants, managers, HR consultants, Total Rewards, Finance, and Payroll
- Assist with internal/external auditor and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and 5500 requests; proactively ensure data integrity
- Participate on work teams examining enhancements to programs, procedures, policies, processes, workflows, and automation related to benefits
- Provide ongoing support to former employees/retirees by answering questions related to pension and 401(k)
Internal customers include employees, supervisors, managers, payroll, legal, absence management team, and IT. External partners include vendors.
Requirements
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented with self-initiative
- Proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools
- Working knowledge of 401(k) and pension rules and requirements
- Computer experience with MS Word, MS Excel, SAP, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, IT, vendors, legal, and payroll
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience.
