About The Role
The HR Operations Analyst is a vital member of the Human Resources Operations team, responsible for delivering a seamless and compliant onboarding experience for new teammates and contractors across Cordis. This full-time role involves supporting HR operations, coordinating onboarding activities, administering HRIS systems, and driving process improvements to enhance the new hire lifecycle.
The HR Operations Analyst ensures that new teammates feel welcomed, supported, and prepared for success from their first day. The role serves as a key point of contact for new hires, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and shared services teams, maintaining accurate employee data and ensuring compliance standards are met. The position requires a proactive approach to managing onboarding logistics, troubleshooting HRIS issues, and fostering positive relationships across various stakeholders to uphold the company's standards of excellence and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred); equivalent work experience considered.
- Minimum of 2+ years supporting HR operations, onboarding coordination, or HRIS administration.
- Experience with I-9 verification and eVerify; Guardian platform experience preferred.
- Proficiency with UKG Pro; experience using iCIMS or other Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred.
- Experience with Sterling or other background screening/identity verification platforms.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; strong knowledge of HR processes, onboarding practices, and data governance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support teammates at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with leadership, peers, business partners, shared services teams, and vendors.
- Experience supporting global or international onboarding is a plus.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary contact for new teammates, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and shared services teams to ensure an exceptional onboarding experience.
- Utilize ATS platforms such as iCIMS to validate candidate and onboarding information, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems.

- Support HRIS processes and workflows within UKG and related systems, including troubleshooting issues and partnering with vendors for system enhancements and updates.
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for all new teammates and contractors, managing candidate communications and logistics.
- Align new-hire orientation and first-day processes, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Manage pre-employment requirements including background checks, I-9 verification, E-Verify, and necessary documentation, processing I-9 verification through the Guardian platform.
- Prioritize onboarding tasks and resolve any delays or issues.
- Track onboarding progress, monitor inquiries via shared mailbox, and provide timely support to all stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within onboarding and HR operations, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
