About The Role

The HR Programs & Initiatives Business Analyst plays a vital role in leveraging data analysis, discretion, and independent judgment to provide strategic insights into HR management planning. This position involves evaluating HR business programs and end-user data requirements, developing analytical tools, and creating comprehensive reporting mechanisms. The Business Analyst serves as a subject matter expert in HR analytics, supporting HR teams in utilizing data-driven insights to achieve program objectives. The role primarily focuses on maximizing existing tools, particularly in Workday, to meet reporting and analytics needs efficiently. By creatively utilizing available data and tools, the analyst ensures timely, accurate, and meaningful analysis that informs workforce planning and management strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of Human Resources or Administrative Support experience
  • At least one (1) year of analytics experience related to HR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (additional experience may substitute for education)
  • Workday Pro – Reporting certification (required within one year of hire)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong experience in report development, analytics, and dashboards
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Ability to work effectively with various management levels and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate HR business programs and data requirements to develop analytical and reporting tools
  • Utilize existing HR systems, primarily Workday, to generate reports, dashboards, and data insights
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in HR analytics, supporting strategic decision-making
  • Create meaningful HR metrics that provide insights into workforce planning and management
  • Collaborate with HR teams to identify analytics needs and deliver timely solutions
  • Maintain and improve existing reporting tools to ensure data accuracy and relevance
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data security standards
  • Support ongoing training and development related to HR analytics tools and practices
