HR Analyst

About This Role

Conduct and supervise the day-to-day HR functions of assigned department(s) within the College of Agriculture/K-State Research & Extension's Business Services Unit. Manage human resource activities relating to recruitments, on-boarding, hiring, & separations, payroll/time & leave, and employee relations. Ultimately responsible for all HR functions for the unit(s), hold signature authority for HR documents. Act as unit(s)' primary contact on higher-level HR matters, uninterrupted services, and process improvements for HR areas. Consult with managers and employees on HR matters.

Worksite Description

This position is **On-site**. All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and five years of Relevant Experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of work experience and education. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to learn quickly, determine priorities, take initiative, and work independently. Computer proficiency/ability to learn new systems. This position uses the Microsoft office suite and KState systems such as PageUp and HRIS. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability in performing highly detailed tasks. Experience in recruitments. Experience with K-State HR processes and paperwork. Experience responding to needs and requests of a wide range of clients in a friendly and effective manner.
