Responsibilities
- Recruiting & Hiring Support: Create and post internal job openings for the DC and maintain job files
- Review internal candidates and advise managers on applications
- Auxiliary with pre-employment drug testing and phone screens
- Conduct or back up New Employee Orientation
- Auxiliary in scheduling candidates for orientation
- HR Administration & Compliance: Create and maintain new associates’ personnel folders, orientation folders, and training folders
- Maintain completion of new hire paperwork and DTO statuses
- Order and create badges, including replacements for all associates
- Auxiliary in retention efforts and attendance tracking
- Auxiliary in various HR compliance functions
- Payroll & Systems Support: Enter HR system changes and assist with Kronos timekeeping/payroll
- Data entry, importing/exporting of data, document linking, and mail merge
- Act as backup to the GM Administrative Assistant as needed
- Employee Engagement & Distribution Center Support: Participate in DC activities and engage with associates on the floor
- Provide general HR support to managers and associates across all shifts
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three years of administrative office experience, preferably with knowledge of DC practices and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Internet
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and composition
- Strong attention to detail, data entry experience, and basic math skills
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation
Preferred Requirements
- Previous Human Resources experience
- Experience with Kronos or similar payroll systems
- Experience with Workday or other ERP software
